Rise Up House – Refund Policy

At Rise Up House, we are committed to maintaining a safe and supportive recovery environment. Our refund policy is designed to be fair while ensuring accountability and consistency in our operations.

1. Non-Refundable Fees

  • Intake/Admission Fees: All intake or admission fees are non-refundable, regardless of length of stay or circumstances of departure.

  • Administrative Fees: Any administrative or processing fees paid at move-in are also non-refundable.

2. Weekly/Monthly Rent

  • No Refunds After Move-In: Once a resident has moved in and paid for a weekly or monthly stay, that rent payment is non-refundable, even if the resident chooses to leave early or is discharged for violating house rules.

  • Advance Payments: If a resident pays rent in advance (e.g., multiple weeks or a full month), and is exited from the program due to rule violations, the remaining balance is not refunded.

3. Early Departure (Voluntary)

  • Residents who choose to leave Rise Up House voluntarily before their paid stay ends are not eligible for a refund.

  • We encourage residents to communicate their plans with staff to avoid misunderstandings or future financial concerns.

4. House-Initiated Discharges

  • Residents who are discharged due to rule violations, relapse, or behavioral issues are not entitled to a refund of any kind, including rent, deposits, or fees.

5. Security Deposits (if applicable)

  • If a security deposit is required at move-in, it may be eligible for a partial refund upon move-out, only if:

    • The resident completes their program or leaves in good standing.

    • There are no damages, missing items, unpaid rent, or outstanding fees.

    • The room is left clean and in good condition.

  • Deposit refunds (if eligible) will be processed within 14 business days of the move-out date.

6. Exceptions

  • In rare and extraordinary circumstances (e.g., a verified medical emergency), partial refunds may be considered at the sole discretion of management. All such requests must be submitted in writing with supporting documentation.

If you have any questions about this policy, please speak with the house manager prior to move-in or payment. By making a payment and signing your residency agreement, you agree to the terms of this refund policy.
